Pekã Rasu Yawanawá is a highly respected spiritual leader from the village of Yawarani in Rio Gregório. As the eldest son of the late Pajé Yawarani, he was one of his last disciples and received profound spiritual teachings that shaped his life's journey.
He completed the transformational Muka initiation diet, which lasted a whole year. For many months, he spent time in the solitude of the deep forest, consuming only pure water and engaging in spiritual practice. This experience brought him a fundamental inner insight, and shortly after its completion, when his father passed away, Pekã decided to dedicate his life to preserving the traditions, spirituality and culture of the Yawanawa people.
